The Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office is joining individuals and organizations across Colorado and promoting the well-being of all children by participating in  WEAR BLUE DAY on April 1st. Blue is the color of the ribbon a grieving grandmother chose to honor her granddaughter who died because of child abuse. Child abuse prevention is a community issue – what happens to our children is everybody’s business. Be an advocate for our kids and WEAR BLUE on April 1st. To get more information visit http://ourkidsyourkids.org and stop by the Sheriff’s Office between now and April 1st to get your WEAR BLUE ribbon.
